Turning off "save changes" prompt
I use an Excel worksheet very frequently which always asks "Do you want
to save changes" when you close it, even when no changes have been made at all. This is very annoying and does not seem to be connected to my main Excel setup, as all other Excel worksheets I use on a daily basis do not give this prompt unless a change has actually been made. The "save" option under "options" does not seem responsible, as the setting in the problematical worksheet is the same as for other worksheets. Is there any way of resolving this? Many thanks TC |

If you have any formulas that use the TODAY() or NOW() functions, it will

I'd guess this workbook uses some 'volatile' functions.

Turning off "save changes" prompt
I will suggest you Detect and Repair your MS office. And to do that, point to
help on MS excel standard tool bar then click on DETECT AND REPAIR. Check the box (discard my customized settings and restore to default).
