Default usime time in a pivot table

I am trying to show an improvement in lapsed times for patient assessments
and want to pivot the data. I know its possible because I have a similar
chart in front of me but when i drag the lapse time field into the table (The
x axis is days of week and the y axis is shifts (day night evening) I only
get the count of the times and not the data. I have tried formatting as hh:mm
but that changes the data to 00:00. Can anyone assist

Hi kriptik,

Double click on the title of the pivot table that probably says 'Count of
Times' and select Sum from the menu window that pops up.
