search from a data table
 

I have spread sheet - with this type of data below

[]Date [] Ticket []Caller []Email[]Caller Organization[]Open Group[]

EX.

[]3/13/2006 [] 1316298[] Jones,David [] []NTK
[]Home
[]3/14/2006 [] 1316498[] Blue,Matt[] []TEAM []Home
[]3/14/2006 [] 1317798[] Nap,John[] []OUT[]Home

i have another spread sheet that has a list of people.
EX.





I want to use my email list to search my first spread sheet.

so if I ran this - based on the data i have above
[]3/14/2006 [] 1316498[] Blue,Matt[] []TEAM []Home

Matt blue ticket would out put since his email was in the seach list.

any help would be great.. I hope you painted the picture

i kinda of cheated - I used a pivot table and gave all stand alone
emails the value of 1000.

[] 1000
[] 1000
[] 1000
[] 1000

then i added that to the big table

[]3/13/2006 [] 1316298[] Jones,David [] []NTK
[]Home
[]3/14/2006 [] 1316498[] Blue,Matt[] []TEAM []Home
[]3/14/2006 [] 1317798[] Nap,John[] []OUT[]Home
[] [] [] [] [] 1000
[] [] [] [] [] 1000
[] [] [] [] [] 1000
[] [] [] [] [] 1000

so when i did the sum

any number that was 1001 i knew was a hit so from this list

matt blue was 1001 and I know he was on the list that called in.

If you have any better ways of doing this please share.
