location of data
hi,
i have two sheets with information that i need to compare. Is there formula i can use to have these two sheets compared regardless of what row the data that matches may be? Thank you. |

Not really.
If your data consists of a key column of unique values, then you may be able to use =vlookup() or =index(match()) to return the values in the second sheet. Then you could use some other formulas to look at each field to see if they changed. You may want to read Debra Dalgleish's notes: http://www.contextures.com/xlFunctions02.html (for =vlookup()) and http://www.contextures.com/xlFunctions03.html (for =index(match())) chartasap wrote: hi, i have two sheets with information that i need to compare.
