Getting two workbooks to update into one,

does anybody have an example of updating two workbooks into one, or how
it would be done,
We have two users in two different locations, once a day we need their
info gathered into one sheet and then sent back to them as updated so
they will be able to refer to the updated sheet the next morning, and
then when they add data into the worksheet, send it back for updating
the next day, or does somebody have a better way of doing this

If they are both on a network, what I do is have the spreadsheet on the
server, and each person opens from his computer and saves. Just can't be
both using it at the same time. Sometimes each can have his own for input,
with a summary sheet in the workbook that picks up the other's input as well.

If they are not networked, it would depend on what order the information has
to go in as it is combined.
