XLS or HTML
I have a small workbook that is about 300 kb
when I save it as HTLM it is now about 14kb, when I open it as HTLM the sheet and the macros work, : just curious to know why one wouldn't save as htlm or what would be the purpose of it |

Hi Rich,
Hold onto your chair because the entire workbook is not in one HTML file. If your workbook is named OfficeWork.xls you will find an HTML file something like OfficeWork.htm *and* you will find a folder named with something beginning with OfficeWork which is where most of the material can be found. You can post back exactly what you have when you look at it. --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm "Rich" wrote in message ...
