Changed referenced cell between sheets
I am running multiple excel sheets , located in a file server, with long file and folder names and I have many links between cells of different sheets. I suddenly realized that a cell referenced in cell c24 of another sheet now is pointing cell c23 of the same sheet. Changed referenced cell between sheets
Niko,
what exactly do you mean? Tell us the formula in C24 and what do you mean by the referenced cell pointing to another cell. From the little I understood from your words, this is a behavior that can come about if a cell is deleted. E.g. If I have a formula =C18 and then one of the cells above is deleted, C18 moves up and now becomes C17. The formula will also change and will show =C17. Is this your case? Then I am not sure you can do much about it. Maybe though the layout is such that something can be fixed. At any rate, you have to be more specific. HTH Kostis Vezerides |
