Quick question, just for interest...
What's the difference between Floor and Rounddown? Looking at the function help guide there doesn't seem to be any... Quick question, just for interest...
ROUNDDOWN only rounds to a decimal place or a power of ten (down to nearest
1, 10, 100, .1,01, etc.), whereas as FLOOR sets it down to the nearest value, which can be a decimal place or power of 10 like ROUNDOWN, or any other value. So =ROUNDDOWN(223,-2) is the same as =FLOOR(223,100) but there is no direct equivalent of say =FLOOR(223,110) You can get it with =ROUNDDOWN(223/110,1)*110 but I know which I prefer -- HTH Bob Phillips (remove nothere from email address if mailing direct) "Tibbs" wrote in message ...
