Rotating Scroll Bar
I currently have a form that I want to have 2 Scroll bars, one Vertical and
one Horizontal. Using the Forms toolbar I can easily make a scroll bar and assign whatever I want to it fairly easily. The problem is that the Rotate option is grayed out so I can't have a Horizontal bar, only vertical ones. These bars are going to be used to pin point a specific cell in an array, and im currently using =INDEX() based on two bars, then in the array using conditional formatting to highlight the cell that is currently being used. But i'm currently having to use 2 Vertical scroll bars instead of one of each, which is not very tidy. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks. |

.. The problem is that the Rotate option is grayed out
so I can't have a Horizontal bar, only vertical ones .. There shouldn't be any need to rotate ? <g In Excel 97, I'm able to draw a horizontal or vertical scroll bar (from Forms Toolbar), just by clicking on the scroll bar icon, and then drawing the "rectangle" out on the sheet either horizontally or vertically. And if I somehow didn't draw it out right, I'd just delete the bar, and re-draw. -- Max Singapore http://savefile.com/projects/236895 xdemechanik --- "PaulW" wrote in message ... Rotating Scroll Bar
Ah, cheers.
The same doesn't apply to a spinner though, is there any way to do it on one of those? "Max" wrote: .. The problem is that the Rotate option is grayed out so I can't have a Horizontal bar, only vertical ones .. There shouldn't be any need to rotate ? <g |

We can proceed to draw the spinner "horizontal", but it'll just be a squashed version of a vertical spinner which looks terribly out of shape <g (Albeit it seems we can draw out spinners horizontally if these are from the Control Toolbox) -- Max Singapore http://savefile.com/projects/236895 xdemechanik --- |
