Newby questions - simple (I hope)

I'm new to excel and have to manage a large spread sheet.
1) How do I make the headers unchangable? That is, they should be read
only.
2) How do I restrict a cell to certain values? That is, I only want
"yes',"No", or "Don't Know"
I don't want spaces, or any other values entered....?
3) What is a good book for an Excel newby, but computer experienced...

Thank you

Nooby,

1) You will need to Protect the sheet (Tools:Protection), I believe. Be sure
to unlock those cells that should allow user input. (Format:Cells:Protection)

2) Data Validation, under Data:

3) Not sure about a book, but there are lots of great web pages available if
you perform a search.
