Hi all,
Sorry, I've to post this thread again, 'cause I don't get any response from the forum before. I need to delete a range in closed workbook, without open it. Is it possible to do that? I must do that to replace Delete query, 'cause is not supported by ISAM. Please, anyone can help me? Thanks a lot! Resant |

![]() Not sure quite what you mean by "delete a range". It seems there are two possibilities : 1. "Delete a range name" 2. "Delete a range of cells" in effect this could only really mean "set a range of cells to an initial value such as 0" as deleteing a range of cells only replaces them with another set. To paraphrase "the cells are deleted long live the cells" Both of these will need to open the workbook in some form but both can be done programatically ie without user intervention regards -- tony h ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tony h's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=21074 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=520020 |
