Limit to Wrapped Text?

I have Excel 2003 and have created a worksheet form. That is, people can
open the file and type in the unprotected cells. In some cases, people
are needing to type multiple sentences ... therefore, I merged cells
together. Essentially I have merged 16 rows and 32 columns of cells to
create a "block" cell in which the user can type. I set the Alignment
attributes to "Wrap text" and "Merge cells".

The problem I'm having is that when the user reaches 12 lines of text,
the text stops wrapping and will not print. Everything wraps as it
should up until that point, but at the end of the 12th row, the text
trails off into the netherworld. Double-clicking the cell will bring
the text back and it appears to wrap normally, but when you click out
of the cell, it disappears again.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you add alt-enters (to force new lines within the cell) every 80-100
characters, you'll be able to see more of that text.

Thanks ... I did that, but the printed result is broken sentences that
really doesn't look good. I'm wondering if there is some kind of
restriction built in to Excel that limits the number of words or
characters that will show when wrapped.

Without adding those alt-enters, you'll be able to see about 1000 characters.

Actually, you can get about 32,767 characters into a cell if you use my
EasyText utility...
