Default matching in a matrix

Can someone recommend a way to do this:
I want to analyze 4 different parameters of a cell, and then compare
each of those parameters to a matrix that contains 6 possible
combinations. Then perform a function based on which row in the matrix
corresponds to the cell's parameters.

The matrix of possibilities looks something like this:
value of cell | value of col N | value of row 15 | value of something
else
x 1 1 0
x 1 1 =col N
x 1 1 =row 15
x 1 1 col N
x 1 1 col N
x 1 1 row 15

At this point, I'm not sure if there is a way to build a formula to
accomplish this. I hope I've explained this adequately.
Warning: I'm feeling pretty dumb right now.
