Shifting Combo boxes
Using the Control Toolbox, I created 10 combo boxes in a column, one each
covering cells C1:C10. If I attempt to hide rows 6-10 temporarily, a combo box shows up in C11. Other times after hiding and unhiding the rows, the combo boxes in C6:C10 all stack on top of one another in cell C11. Is there a way to anchor the boxes so that they stay put over the cell they're covering? Thanks! |
Shifting Combo boxes
hi,
Controls from the tool box cannot be attached or anchored to a cell. Controls "float" on top of the sheet which is why you are having the problems you are having. My only suggestion is that you find another way to do what you are trying to do. Since you were a little foggy about what you are trying to do, there is little i can suggest at this time. sorry. The reason for using the combo boxes was to display two columns of
information upon clicking the down arrow; I can't do that with data validation, but if you have an alternative suggestion as to how to display two columns, I would appreciate it!
