Use "Paste Special" instead of "Paste". You'll then have an option to select
just "Values". HTH, Elkar "Holden Caulfield" wrote: I want to copy just the results of formulas in a series of cells and not the formulas. that is i want to copy the values in cells. |

Instead of Paste, go to the menu & click Edit, Paste Special, and select Values. Lots of other interesting options there, too, like Formats, which is especially handy sometimes. |

There is an Excel command button (Paste Values) that will do this for you in
one keystoke. It looks like a clipboard with "12" on it. To put it on your toolbar, right click next to your toolbars - Customize - Commands tab - Edit category - pull down the Commands to the Paste Values icon. Drag this icon up and into your toolbar.
