how do I set up repeated view of top line in excel spreadsheet
I want to be able to view the first line of excel when I scroll down the
page. So I would like it to follow me down the page. Any ideas on how I can set this up? |

Highlight Row 2, then select "Freeze Panes" from the Window Menu
That should do it. HTH, Elkar "Micahel" wrote: I want to be able to view the first line of excel when I scroll down the page. So I would like it to follow me down the page. Any ideas on how I can set this up? |

If you want to see row 1 all the time, select row 2, then Window|freeze panes.
You can even make it so you can see the top rows when you scroll up/down and see the left columns when you scroll right left. Select any old cell (say D5). then window|freeze panes Everything above D5 (rows 1:4) will be frozen. Everything to the left of D5 (columns A:C) will be frozen.
