Multiple accessing of an excel file
Hey people,
My problem is that I ahve an excel file that both my collegue and myself need to update constantly, however the problem is that in order for me to access it and update it he needs to get out of it and vice versa. Is there any way Excel would allow us to access it toegther and update it together, without one of u having to come out of it. Thanks |

What you want is a shared workbook.
Tools | Share Workbook, check the "Allow changes by more than one user at a time" box. -- Marc. You could share it. ToolsShare Workbook, although it restricts
functionality and can cause problems. -- HTH Bob Phillips (remove nothere from the email address if mailing direct) wrote in message oups.com...
