How print header row at top of each page?
 

How do you get Excel 97 to print the header row at the top of each printed
page when the data is 300 or 400 rows long, for instance?

1) Open a beer.

2) Click File, Page Setup, and then the Sheet tab.

3) Click in the "Rows to repeat at top" box to put the cursor there.

4) On the sheet itself, click in the cell which represents the left side of
the header row you want to print. Or, let's say your header is two rows
high. First, click in A1, hold the mouse button down, and drag down one cell
into A2. Now, two rows of header will print on each page.

5) The dialog box contains a Print Preview button so you can check the
results of the change you just made.

I see "Rows to repeat at top" but it is grayed out and clicking in it
doesn't do anything :(

"Rows to repeat at top" will be be grayed out if you have accessed it through
Print Preview or if you have more than one worksheet selected.

Select one sheet and FilePage SetupSheet.
