Excel Send to Mail Recipient (as Attachment)

When I try to send a worksheet by email from Excel 2000 by useing the 'send
to mail recipient (as Attachment)' I get a error message: "your server has
unexpectedly terminated the connection" I also get the same message trying to
send in the body of the email.
I can attach the file to an email and send it from outlook 2000 with out a
problem.
I'm using Norton Anti Virus and have tried to send after disabling the auto
protect but that didn't help.

It's possible that your excel program doesn't know which mail program you are
using. If you open Internet Options - and select the programs tab - make
sure that outlook is selected as your email client.

Good luck!

That was checked and Outlook is the default email app.
