Number to Text
Hello Wayne,
I have a utility that may help: NumbersToText.xls at http://www.geocities.com/excelmarksway My site only supports Microsoft IE so if you are not using IE 5.5 or later then a browser like Firefox or Mozilla may not (somehow) support javascript or 16 million colors, then you may have some minor problems reading the text. - -Mark "Wayne" wrote: Cell A10 is equal to a sum of numbers, ie 8 I want to format this cell so it reads "Eight" Is this possible? thanks Wayne |

What's the range of possible sum values? If it will only be whole numbers
between zero and 9, the solution could be relatively simple. If the potential values could be almost any positive number, you'll want to either check this website: http://www.xldynamic.com/source/xld.xlFAQ0004.html or the NBTEXT function in the morefunc.xll file located at: http://xcell05.free.fr/ Does that help? *********** Regards, Ron XL2002, WinXP-Pro "Wayne" wrote: Cell A10 is equal to a sum of numbers, ie 8 I want to format this cell so it reads "Eight" Is this possible? thanks Wayne |
