changing the cell name when printing comments

Hello, I am currently making a budget report using excel. I wish to use
"comments" to justify various expenses. I would like the option of
printing them and understand how to do that, however, when i do, Excel
puts "cell a5 - "comment"" instead of what was actually in the cell,
making referencing them very difficult.

Is there any way to change the cell name when printing comments?

Thanks!!

changing the cell name when printing comments

Not built in.

But Debra Dalgleish has some code that copies the comments to another worksheet:
http://contextures.com/xlcomments03.html#CopyToSheet

You could add as much as you want to that routine.

If you're new to macros, you may want to read David McRitchie's intro at:
