Matt

help with vlookup

Hi,

I need to create a vlookup project in excel. What is trying to be
accomplished is: making a template which has descriptions, amounts and sizes
of various items. i would do a file extract from my database and import that
data into excel. When imported excel would resolve the information(fill out
the rest of the line) by item # with the information stored.

I was told a vlookup would be the best way to handle this. I have been
searching the web and i will also search this site but any direction in this
matter would be greatly appreciated. Either links to articles or personal
tips.

Thank You,
Matt
