I have an excel sheet in column A it contains Name of the student and
in column B it contains Marks of the students. Now I want the name of
student in column C who gets the highest Mark.

In Cell C2 enter:

=INDEX(A2:B6,MATCH(MAX(B2:B6),B2:B6,0),1)
