Default Hiding carriage return

I have an Excel spreadsheet that contains carriage returns in some of the
cells. This is necessary to get the lines to wrip where I want them to. On
my computer these lines display properly. In my co-worker's computer the
carriage returns display and print as little squares. How can I hide this
symbol?

If you set the cell to wrap text on the other PC, the CR will engage instead
of showing a box.

FormatCellsAlignment tab: Check: Wrap text

Does that help?
