Delete that entry from the list under Tools Options, on the Spelling tab,
under Autocorrect Options. One way would be to delete the autocorrect entry for (c) by
clicking on Tools | AutoCorrect Options | AutoCorrect tab | <click on the entry for (c) | Delete | OK. Note that this will delete the specified autocorrect entry in all of your Office applications, not just in Excel. Another way would be to turn off the AutoCorrect feature in Excel by clicking on Tools | AutoCorrect Options | AutoCorrect tab | uncheck the "Replace text as you type" box | OK. ![]() Under the Menu - Tools/Auto Correct Options, you should be able to change to setting to stop excel from replacing (c) with © -- TROBFP ------------------------------------------------------------------------ TROBFP's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31688 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=514544 |

And you could just hit ctrl-z (edit|undo) to revert to (c) (and still keep the
autocorrect entry alive for most things).
