Pivot Table Totals
I have a pivot table that analyses data from three different spreadsheets (including the one it is currently in). It contains revenue per sector and weighted revene per sector. The third column contains the weighted data as a percentage of the actual revenue and calculates and updates automatically for each sector. HOWEVER, the total figure at the end of the column does not divide one by the other, it adds up all the percentage figures above - so is obviously incorrect. Does anyone know how to resolve this? -- ajames ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ajames's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31502 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=514333 |
Pivot Table Totals
you could try using a calculated field inside the pivot table < pivot table toolbar < Formulas < Calculated Field. -- steven1001 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ steven1001's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=30757 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=514333 |
Pivot Table Totals
I've tried, but the fields are not listed as normal for some reason. Since you cannot reference specific cells either, I don't knnow how to get this option to work. -- ajames ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ajames's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31502 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=514333 |
