Excel not taking the minimized bar to open next excel file
I am opening up a exel file and working in this file. When i am done i close
out the file i am working on and minimize the Excel program and try to open a new exel file or even the same one that i just closed and the Excel program and a completly new Excel program opens egnoring the one that i just minimuzed. How do i fix it that the minimized program opens the file |

Sometimes one of these works when you're having trouble with double clicking on
the file in windows explorer: Tools|Options|General|Ignore other applications (uncheck it) --- or --- Close Excel and Windows Start Button|Run excel /unregserver then Windows Start Button|Run excel /regserver The /unregserver & /regserver stuff resets the windows registry to excel's factory defaults.
