My spreadsheet contains a single missing row (11) which I canot unhide - I
think it contains data

Select row 10 through 12, right click on one of the selected rows and select
Row Height. Enter 12.75 and click OK. It sounds like the row has been
resized to 0 and not hidden.

It may not be hidden. It may just be very,very short. Try to increase the
height of rows 9-12 to a reasonable value.
