autofilter sort not visible
I created an excel file and have autofilter applied.
Obviously, it gives me the option to filter, or to sort ascending/descending. I sent it to the person who needs to use it. They opened it, however, when the click on a column heading to filter, the sort ascending/descending option is not visible, and they can only filter. Is there any reason for this? the sheet isn't protected/shared or anything. I have tried disabling autofilter, and re-applying the autofilter on the user's pc. Is this just a quirky excel thing? Thanks for the help. |

Perhaps you're using different versions of Excel. The Sort command is
only available in the AutoFilter dropdown in Excel 2003, not earlier versions. gefilte wrote: I created an excel file and have autofilter applied.
