Faulting application excel.exe

Hello,

Having trouble opening excel. All other office apps are running normally.
Here's the error message I'm getting:
Faulting application excel.exe, version 9.0.0.8924, faulting module
excel.exe, version 9.0.0.8924, fault address 0x00026ec1.

Looking at the event viewer, there seems to be an issue with faultrep.dll...

I've tried the following:
Used the office disks to repair Excel
Uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2000, and downloaded all updates

Does anyone have any advice on how to get Excel 2000 up and running again?
Thanks in advance.
