I am looking for a quick way to invert a column in Excel.

One way.

In a blank adjacent column type 1 and 2 in the first 2 cells then select the
2 cells and drag down to the last row with data, next select the 2 columns
and sort using the new column in descending order.....clear the the new
column when done.
