Excel 95 had a "data analysis" option, how can I access on XP?
In Windows 95 version of Excel, if you select the "Tools" option at the top
of the page, it offers you a "Data Analysis" selection. Once at the Data analysis selection, the program will run tests such as ANOVA, regression, and best fit - among others. How can I find/use/download/access this option on Windows XP version of Excel? I require statistical analysis for my research, but the machines only export to Excel and this was a fabulous option that I can no longer find since the university has updated my Windows format. |

Check Tools | Add-Ins to see if Analysis ToolPak is listed. If it is, check the box, and it'll appear on the Tools menu. If it's not listed, use the Office/Excel installation CD to add Analysis ToolPak to your hard drive. The Analysis ToolPak must be installed from the Office/Excel CD. It cannot be downloaded. - Mike www.mikemiddleton.com "Jana" wrote in message ...
