Set defaul to "text"
Is there a way to set the default cel number format to "text?"

Set defaul to "text"
In a blank workbook, change all the cell formats to text. And then, assuming
your using Windows XP, Office 2003, save that workbook as a template, but change the Save As location to: C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART replace "your name" with your user name. Once saved here, every new workbook you create will default to text format. "Rosewood" wrote: Is there a way to set the default cel number format to "text?" |
