Auto-Entry of text from another worksheet

I am new to this so please bear with me.

I have two worksheets. In the first one which we'll call ORDERS I enter the
details of the order such as name, address, units sold, etc.

In the second worksheet which we'll call DATABASE I would like certain
pieces of information such as name, address to be automatically displayed
here after I've submitted it into ORDERS.

I appear to be OK with all my =SUM formuals but can't get my head around how
to automatically have text appear in one worksheet when it was entered in
another.

Hi,
simply add 'ORDERS'!A2 if for example you want to display A2 from ORDERS
sheet.

for example if you want to display in the DATABASE sheet in cell A1 what you
put in ORDERS sheet in cell F5, just type ='ORDERS'!F5

basically if you start any cell with "=" sign, once you go to another sheet
excel does it for you (try it).
