Extract data that has increased by a percentage
I have a worksheet that has vertical columns labeled with the months and under these columns is revenue we have earned from these customers. Vertically I have the customers listed. What I am trying to do is extract the customers that sales have decreased by say 30% from Jan to Feb. Is this possible? I have attached an example of my current layout. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: Example.zip | |Download: http://www.excelforum.com/attachment.php?postid=4306 | +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- swfisher ------------------------------------------------------------------------ swfisher's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31128 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=507947 |
Extract data that has increased by a percentage
If you have a column that measures the change in sales from January to
February, then you can apply a filter to that column using Custom | Is Less than and specifying -30% (or greater than 30%, depending on how your formula is set up). You can highlight the visible rows, click <copy then paste them to another part of the worksheet or to a new sheet. Hope this helps. Pete |
