Default Check Box Text

In check boxes I have created, bottoms of letters like "y" and "g" are being
cut off and I can't see where to adjust for that.

I am just beginning to use the controls and appreciate your help!

Right click on the check box, and you should be able to see the border of the
check box. Then left click on the border. The check box should then show up
as an object. You'll see little circles in the corners. Just drag those
circles to make it bigger.
