Can Excel help me do this?
Does anyone have suggestions on a good software, if not Excel, which could
assist me in which quantitative data can be entered and then processed into diagrams and information for comparion? We need to enter data representing the number of telephone service subscribers in our area based on zip code areas in our region. The data needs to be processed into comparative chart/diagrams that deliver both a visual and numerically comparison between the amount of subscribers in one zip code area with the subscribers in surrounding zip code areas. At first blush, you could use a pivot chart or a simple chart, depending on
the amount of data that you need to analyze. Excel would be my first choice to build the kind of program you've described.
As for output reporting, don't be discouraged by those who claim it's not a good program for that. I personally can design Output Reports you can not even imagine could come out of Excel.....and there are folks here that are 10 times better at it than me. hth Vaya con Dios, Chuck, CABGx3 "jcisar" wrote: Does anyone have suggestions on a good software, if not Excel, which could assist me in which quantitative data can be entered and then processed into diagrams and information for comparion?
