Can I go beyond 65536 lines in a file?
I have hit a maximum number of 65536 lines in a large Radio Station record library. 65536 is 2 to the power of 16 - I assume this is significant. Is it possible to enter more than 65536 entries in one file, and if so, how? I am using Excel 2000. The library file needs to be accessed by totally inexperienced users, so having seperate files or books is not a good option. -- R.K.Anscombe ------------------------------------------------------------------------ R.K.Anscombe's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31031 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=506990 |

I would definitely use two worksheets. Separate the data by date or genre or
something else. Your alternative is to use Access ( a worse option) -- Gary's Student "R.K.Anscombe" wrote: I have hit a maximum number of 65536 lines in a large Radio Station record library. 65536 is 2 to the power of 16 - I assume this is significant.
