How do I Hide Excel 2002 Hyperlink ScreenTip?
You right click on a hyperlink, choose Edit Hyperlink
Click on Top Right Hand button "ScreenTip" Type in ScreenTip text. If you leave this blank, when you hover over the link, it displays a long linkname in the screentip. If you enter a " " (space enclosed in quotes), when you hover over the link, it displays a small - but visible - yellow screentip. I DO NOT WANT to see the screentip, not even a blank one. Is there ANYONE out there who knows how to do this? I spent 3 hrs scouring the web ... nothing! What I did start wondering after searching is whether this might be able to be controlled from a CSS stylesheet? Please SOMEONE say there is an easier way. A solution which disables all screentips for all Excel workbooks will also do. Thank you in advance |
