How can I retrieve deleted data?
As a new user to Office XP Professional
I've just mistakenly deleted data from an Access database. Unlike a 'Word" file, it's not in the recycle bin.. where is it? Can I retrieve it? Help? |
Hi Chas
couple of things, this is an excel newsgroup - you might be better off posting in an access one e.g. microsoft.public.access.gettingstarted but unfortunately basically something is deleted in Access then it is gone - unless it was a whole table that you deleted and then BEFORE you close Access have a read of http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;209874 it refers to mdbs created under access 2000 but it might be worth a try. You might try posting in the Access newsgroup (this is Excel), but, when you
delete things in Access, that often means it gone for good. Unless it's retyped, of course. Do you have a back up of the data? tj "ChasD" wrote: As a new user to Office XP Professional I've just mistakenly deleted data from an Access database.
