I need to input the following into a cell: 2-12. The cell automatically
reverts to a number of 38760 or a date of 12-Feb. I format to General but it is inputting 12-Feb. My validation is set on Any Value. Even when I change the format, it continues to either give me the 38760 or jumps to a date format of 12-Feb. Is there any thing I can do? |

Try either preformating the col as Text,
or enter it with a preceding apostrophe -- Max Singapore http://savefile.com/projects/236895 xdemechanik --- "Jello" wrote in message ... I need to input the following into a cell: 2-12.
