In 2002 you could enter a box that you could turn the check mark on and off.
What can you use in excel 2003 that would be similar since it does not have
this box?

Try insert the symbol for check mark and a blank space as two
characters in a delimited list.

xl2003 has all the checkboxes that xl2002 had.

There's a checkbox on the Control toolbox toolbar and a checkbox on the Forms
toolbar. Maybe you were just looking at the wrong one???
