In 2002 you could enter a box that you could turn the check mark on and off.
What can you use in excel 2003 that would be similar since it does not have this box? |

Try insert the symbol for check mark and a blank space as two

xl2003 has all the checkboxes that xl2002 had.
There's a checkbox on the Control toolbox toolbar and a checkbox on the Forms toolbar.
