Ranking formula question?
When I use the rank formula all ties have the same rank. I need them to increase by 1 so that if there is a three way tie for the highest rank I would have a ranking of 1,2,3 not 1,1,1 Thanks...Hope this is possible -- Skeep ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Skeep's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=30822 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=505214 |
Ranking formula question?
Hi!
Try this: =RANK(A1,A$1:A$10)+COUNTIF(A$1:A1,A1)-1 Copy down The first instance of the tie will be ranked higher: 25 = 1 15 = 4 25 = 2 25 = 3 Biff "Skeep" wrote in message ...
