Default AVOVA or TTEST

Anyone got a good rule of thumb to determine which is more appropriate in
determing the difference between measurement results on two thickness gauges?

Thanks

Of course is should have read "ANOVA" not "AVOVA"... the SYSADMIN must have

Just stumbled across this. TTest(,,2,2) is exactly equivalent to a 1-way
anova with 2 groups. TTest(,,2,1) is eactly equivalent to a randomized block
ANOVA wit h 2 treatments in each block.
