Default Document Not Saved Error Message - Excel 2003

I was emailed an Excel workbook. When I make changes and then try to save
the file, I get a pop-up saying "Document Not Saved!". The file properties
shows it is not a read-only file. The workbook or worksheets are not
protected. I also checked the unrestricted access box. None of these
solutions seems to fix the problem.

Anyone? Bueller?

Hi glomonkey- I have gotten that too. Check out this

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/214073/en-us

Here is what I have done to get around it:

Save to network drive. no?
Save to local drive. no?
Save As to local drive. no?
Copy worksheets to another workbook. no?
Copy worksheet contents to another worksheet.
