Restore Excel program Miminize button on Top tool bar
 

For some reason I lost my tool bars. Have been able to restore but Minimize
(Red box with X) is missing and only shows when opening a file and will only
work for that file. At the present moment I cannot minimize the Excel program.

I am not particularly expert but Try Pressing F11.
