copy conditional formulas that reference one cell
I would like to "fill down" a conditional "IF" formula while referencing one
cell value in all rows: =IF(D12=0,"",$J3/D12) =IF(D13=0,"",$J3/D13) =IF(D14=0,"",$J3/D14) =IF(D15=0,"",$J3/D15) I thought the $J3 would remain fixed if it was consistantly fixed in at least three rows and had the $ in front of it. What am I doing wrong or is this option not available? |

If you're filling down then you need to fix the row number so you need J$3 -- daddylonglegs ------------------------------------------------------------------------ daddylonglegs's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=30486 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=503699 |

try =IF(D12=0,"",J$3/D12)
putting the $ in front of the row number in stead of the column letter. you do not have to have three of them to make it work.. -- Greetings from New Zealand Bill K "John Sempek Builder" <John Sempek wrote in message ...
