Pivot Chart won't save order change of data
 
I have created a Pivot Chart from data I've extracted from an external source
and to wich I've added some columns of calculations. The default order of
presenting data in the chart is not how I'd like it. I've tried changing the
order by selecting a data series and changing the order in the Format/Data
Series menu. This works fine until I save the changes and close the report.
When I re-open the report the changes have not been saved. I've tried this
over and over again and the same thing happens every time. How can I secure
changes to the order of the data series?

You probably have the pivot table set to refresh on open, and that
removes the pivot chart series formatting.

Instead, you could record a macro as you select and refresh the pivot
table, and format the chart.
Run that macro when the workbook opens.
