![]() Also meant to add that you have multiple cell referencing A1 as "Cheeseburger" in their formula and not "A1". -- mattflow ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mattflow's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=25129 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=501662 |

![]() Pressing "DELETE" wont accomplish what i am trying to get done. If i press delete then the cells referencing the cell "Cheeseburger" will still reference "Cheeseburger" and not "A1", however the cell will just have the value 0 (since i deleted its contents). And deleting the name "Cheeseburger" in the cell name box does absolutely nothing. -- mattflow ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mattflow's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=25129 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=501662 |

![]() Thanks Chuck, but when I do this then the cells referencing "Cheeseburger" still reference "Cheeseburger", so while deleting the cell in this way does fix one problem, it then leaves me with many name? errors. BEFORE eliminating the Cheezeburger, do a "Fnd and Replace" to get it out of
the formulas and replace it with A1 Vaya con Dios, Chuck, CABGx3 "mattflow" wrote: Thanks Chuck, but when I do this then the cells referencing "Cheeseburger" still reference "Cheeseburger", so while deleting the cell in this way does fix one problem, it then leaves me with many name? errors.
