Julie -
A histogram is used to summarize frequency of occurrence for a single variable. It is one way to identify outliers. Use the Histogram analysis tool, or use the array-entered FREQUENCY function (or COUNTIF) as data for a Column chart type. A scatter plot is used to display the relationship between two variables. It can also be used to identify outliers. Use an XY (Scatter) chart type. - Mike www.mikemiddleton.com "Julie" wrote in message ... does anyone know if I can get outliers from a histogram, or do I need to do a scatter plot?
